Blanca Méndez is a Medill senior from Eagle Pass, Texas interested in urban agriculture, harpists and dinosaurs. She has interned at the Weekend Argus in Cape Town and the office of Rep. Ciro D. Rodriguez. She plans to pursue gardening and creative writing upon graduation.
