Geoff is interested in journalism's potential to meet the information needs of communities and to create space for nuanced discourse across disparate experiences and social strata. Working with non-profit and grassroots community groups, contributing to free/open source software projects, and playing music in the DIY punk subculture has made him interested in collaborative process. He is excited to explore emerging models for collaboration in journalism at Medill and throughout communities in Chicago.
