Before coming to Medill, Bryan Lowry studied English at Boston University and later served as a public school teacher in San Francisco for three years. Topics of interest include education, the legal system, politics and social justice issues. A native of Pennsylvania, he is a lifelong fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and a firm believer in the principle that, “You can’t lose them all.”
