Sirena Rubinoff graduated with a Master's Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism in March 2008. She has reported from Washington, D.C., Chicago, San Diego, and Cape Town, South Africa. She has also spent time living in Jerusalem, Israel.
Sirena plans to work as a foreign correspondent after completing a 2008/2009 Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholarship in Tanzania. She will spend her time there studying Swahili, participating in service projects and working on independent short and long-form stories from Zanzibar.
Sirena is originally from San Diego, CA. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Northwestern University where she double majored in Journalism and History.
