Taryn Luntz is a Washington correspondent for the Seattle Times and the Santa Barbara News-Press through the Medill News Service. She previously reported on health and science and legal issues in Chicago. Her stories have appeared in the Washington Post, the Chicago Tribune's Red Eye, the Northwest Indiana Times, the Chicago Defender and the Chicago Journal. Before pursuing her Master of Science in Journalism degree from Northwestern University, she worked as a post production manager for National Geographic Television & Film. She holds a B.A. in Politics, Economics and Legal Affairs from American University.
