Greg is in the Reporting and Writing concentration of Medill's M.S.J. program.

Since starting at Medill last summer, Greg's stories have been published in the USA Today, Dallas Morning News, the Charlotte Observer, the Kansas City Star, the Lakeland Ledger, the Oklahoman, the Baton Rouge Advocate, the Chicago Journal, the Chicago Defender and the Northwest Indiana Times.

Before turning to journalism, Greg led wilderness trips for adjudicated and private school teenagers in Florida, California and Colorado. He earned his B.A. in Literature, in the Creative Writing concentration, at the University of California-Santa Cruz in 2001.

Greg was born in Austin, Texas, and reared in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
