Ashley Johnson comes from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  She attended the University of Pennsylvania for her bachelor's degree in political science and communications.

Currently, she is a broadcast student at Medill.  From an extensive internship at the WB affliate in Philadelphia she knew she wanted to become an on-air reporter.  She also did the NBC Page Program where she worked for the Suze Orman Show and Weekend Today.

In Ashley's free time she enjoys ballet, traveling and meeting new people.
