As president and co-founder of the Chicago Council on Science and Technology, Alan Schriesheim shows no signs of slowing down at the approach of his 80th birthday. Schriesheim loved science the moment he opened his first chemistry set as a kid. And such devotion shows in his far-reaching career at Exxon, as the director of Argonne National Laboratory and, most recently and, now, as the driving force of the Chicago Council on Science and Technology.
