NATO nearing, ACLU preparing
With the NATO summit just weeks away, the ACLU of Illinois wants protestors to understand their rights. On Wednesday at the Chicago Temple, the ACLU hosted a know your rights forum where staff attorney Karen Sheley discussed protesting rights. Participants also learned how the strict Illinois Eavesdropping Act could affect their interactions with police officers during the two-day summit.
