Immigrants send $500 billlion home to struggling families

Migrant workers have always sent money home to support family and friends, but in recent years these so-called remittances have reached record highs. The World Bank estimates remittances topped $500 billion last year. Medill Reports takes a closer look at the impact for one Indian woman and her family.
