Chicago Teachers Union (“CTU") is campaigning for Chicago Public Schools (“CPS”) to reduce standardized tests in schools because they say it is an ineffective measurement of teacher and school performance. CTU started a petition that now has over 2800 signatures. What impact could this have on our current educational system? And what does CPS say about this? Colette Luke speaks with a local principal on how he feels about this initiative and talks to CPS on what their future plans will now be with standardized tests.
