New Center for Care and Discovery improves patients' quality of life

The University of Chicago opened its new flagship hospital The Center for Care and Discovery this week. The hospital will be the home of rare disease treatment and specialty care, primarily for cancer patients. Medical staff and patients, including the first patient to receive a room in the new hospital - a mother of two battling leukemia - describe what the new hospital means to them.
