• Tai chi is an ancient Chinese martial art that is often called “moving meditation." The practice involves moving slowly and gracefully through a series of postures and stances while breathing deeply. Today, tai chi is most commonly used as a form of gentle exercise, meditation and even dance.
• Qi gong is an ancient Chinese energy practice that combines deep breathing with slow, flowing movements. The goal of the practice is to increase the flow of qi, or life energy, through the body. Today, qi gong is most commonly used as a form of gentle exercise and meditation.
