It's no secret that childhood obesity is an epidemic in the United States. But within the city of Chicago, the number of obese children is higher than average. In fact, a recent report by the Consortium to Lower Obesity in Chicago Children stated that one in five CPS kindergartners qualifies as obese.
Dr. Jennifer Sacheck of Tufts University weighs in on the national scale of the problem and Lanette Wolford discusses the steps she's taking to fight back in Chicago.
