O'Hare janitors face off with employer over union representation
Janitorial employees from O’Hare International Airport and Service Employees International Union representatives gathered at City Hall Tuesday to urge United Maintenance Co. Inc., the janitors' employer, to recognize SEIU Local 1 as the bargaining agent for airport janitors and window-washers. However, United Maintenance claims a miscommunication between the parties.
