The two largest Asian carp on display in Shedd Aquarium's new exhibit "At Home on the Great Lakes," were found in Chicago's Humboldt Park. Visitors can learn about these carp and over 60 more species found near Chicago by watching the creatures and interacting with digital displays.

More than 60 species that call the lakes near Chicago home are on display at Shedd Aquarium's new interactive exhibit, "At Home on the Great Lakes." Visitors can now interact with digital displays, learn about issues facing the Great Lakes and even pet prehistoric sturgeons at the exhibit. Researchers say visitors will see just how diverse, fascinating and sometimes bizarre the animals that call the lake home can be - and hope people will be inspired to work towards protecting the lakes.
