Short week, big issues
The Chicago Bears host the New York Giants on Thursday night, the team’s only Thursday game of the season. Team coaches and doctors alter their week of preparation to stay healthy for a game on short rest.

Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall, diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, will wear lime green cleats in Thursday night’s game against the New York Giants in Chicago to promote awareness of mental illness. Green, representing growth and hope, is the color chosen to represent the awareness campaign. Several Chicago skyscrapers will also glow green Thursday, in support of the campaign and mental health advocacy and education.
