In tough times, an age-old practice makes a comeback

A cobbler is a form of dessert but it is also an age-old craft that is making a comeback. Tough economic times are forcing many to be more frugal and one way is to fix shoes instead of buying news ones. Cost is one reason why some are trying cobblers but some Chicagoans are choosing to go to the repair shop as their contribution to the environment.
