Bulls-Cavaliers season opener: What you need to know before tip-off

he Fred Hoiberg era begins tonight, as the Bulls take on the Cleveland Cavaliers in the regular season opener.

Joakim Noah is pumped. There are even rumors of an apperance by President Obama.

According to Dave McMenamin of ESPN,”President Barack Obama, perhaps the most famous Bulls fan in the world, is expected to be in attendance for Chicago’s season-opening game Tuesday against the Cavaliers.”

Hoiberg seems to be only mildly impressed with a potential presidential visit.

According to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune, former MVP Derrick Rose will play tonight after suffering a fractured orbital bone during preseason.

Some experts believe the Bulls and Cavaliers will be two of the top teams in the Eastern Conference.
