Leslie’s Place Gives Formerly Incarcerated Women a Second Chance at Life

Second chances in life are far and few between, but Leslie Brown knows what it’s like to have one. Brown, who was formerly incarcerated gives a second chance to women through her organization Leslie’s Place.

Located on the West Side of Chicago, Leslie’s Place helps women transition back into society after being incarcerated.

“I do believe that everyone deserves a second chance,” Brown said. “God gives us a second, third, fourth and fifth chance. Who are we that we can’t reach back and help someone else?”
