The silky, sweet treat is sold all around the city, one of the ice cream capitals of the world. Generations away from its Italian roots, the local ice cream scene is evolving. From artisanal shops selling traditional favorites like dulce de leche, to experimental shops selling unconventional flavors like Bazooka bubble gum, Argentine helado is like no other. Hector showed me how they make helado.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"margin-top: 0pt;margin-bottom: 0pt;line-height: 1.38\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Arial, sans-serif;color: #2d3b45;font-style: italic;vertical-align: baseline\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"margin-top: 0pt;margin-bottom: 0pt;line-height: 1.38\"><span style=\"font-size: 13pt;font-family: Arial, sans-serif;background-color: transparent;vertical-align: baseline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bolder\">Hemede:<\/span>&nbsp;We heat the mixture at 75-80 degrees Celsius. It passes through this cold plate where ice water passes. In this case we are sowing it with a chocolate sauce and chips. Here it marks the weight it has.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"margin-top: 0pt;margin-bottom: 0pt;line-height: 1.38\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Arial, sans-serif;color: #2d3b45;font-style: italic;vertical-align: baseline\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"margin-top: 0pt;margin-bottom: 0pt;line-height: 1.38\"><span style=\"font-size: 13pt;font-family: Arial, sans-serif;background-color: transparent;vertical-align: baseline\">Artisanal ice cream, its main feature, is to select the best of everything.
