Now usually thousands candidates compete for one seat in an orchestra based in the Chicago area.\u00a0 Jennifer Colgan, the marketing manager of Chicago Symphony Orchestra, suggests music majors pursue a diverse background to prepare for different opportunities.<\/p>\n
