And now you can even taste it. Inspired by the brewing customs of the Wari people in ancient Peru, the Field Museum will launch a new beer in March, made with traditional Peruvian ingredients\u2014purple corn and pepper berry.<\/p>\n<p>[vimeo 157620802 \u00a0w=474]<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Archaeologists found remains of the beer in 2004 when a team of researchers uncovered a bygone Wari brewery in southern Peru. The ancient brewery operated between 600 and 1050 AD.<\/p>\n<p>The beer will be released on Thursday night at the museum\u2019s beer tasting event.
