Each month, a guest will be invited to share their favorite family recipes. Chef Berta Navarro kicked off the first dinner on February 23, cooking her grandmother\u2019s recipes from Jalisco, Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe love celebrating flavors and cuisines from around the world,\u201d said general manager Ardit Dizdari. \u201cIt shows that no matter where you are from and how different your rituals are, you still sit at a table with friends and\/or family and share a meal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Immigrant Dinner Series Celebrates the Food of Different Cultures\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/206660761?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Dizardi will help his mom, Myzejen, cook Albanian recipes for the second dinner on March 23. \u201cMy love for food and cooking comes from watching my mother and grandmother cook when I was a little kid, and they forced me to help out,\u201d Dizardi said. \u201cWe will bring some of the recipes that we cook in my home town, and food we make for gatherings and celebrations.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"featurecaption\">Photo at top: One of the appetizers, sopes de papa con chorizo, gets prepped in the kitchen.
