But at Reverse the Kerrs farm in Elgin, the goats are getting closer to nirvana.<\/p>\n<p>Original Goat Yoga\u00a0 has come to the farm, where 10 baby goats join owner Danielle Kerr&#8217;s weekly classes. It&#8217;s the first Chicago-area spot to host the novelty yoga experience that began in Oregon and is now in nine locations in the U.S.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Goat yoga comes to Chicagoland\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/333622026?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s wonderful because it\u2019s a combination of animal-assisted therapy and yoga,&#8221; said Kerr.<\/p>\n<p>The 30-minute class is followed by an hour of &#8220;goat happy hour,&#8221; where guests get to spend time with the goats and take photos.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople laugh, people get a chance to be silly and let go and have fun,&#8221; said Kerr. &#8220;Goats are just magical and they have a way of making people feel happy and good about themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"featurecaption\">Photo at top: Original Goat Yoga in Elgin (Nicole Croteau\/MEDILL)<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Nicole Croteau Medill Reports In the old parable, the sheep go to heaven; the goats do not.
