The COVID-19 pandemic and California stay-at-home orders forced them to postpone everything.<\/p>\n<p>The 27 year old bride was crushed. \u201cI\u2019m not going to lie and say I didn\u2019t cry a little bit,\u201d Torres said.<br \/>\n<iframe title=\"A Pandemic Wedding Story\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/408690594?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\nWith social distancing orders in place, churches closed and event venues shut down, saving the wedding date seemed unthinkable. \u201cIt really did not seem like it was going to be a possibility.\u201d Torres said.<br \/>\n\u200b<!--more--><br \/>\nAfter extensive research and many phone calls, the engaged couple found a way to make it official. The two were able to snag the last license from a local notary, on the same day they had planned to marry. \u201cAt the end of the day it\u2019s about two people&#8217;s love for one another and overcoming things,\u201d said the new bride.
