It also happens to be where Tom proposed to Kim.<br \/>\n<iframe title=\"A Pandemic Wedding\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/424077673?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\nWhen it became clear in the weeks leading up to the May 23, 2020 wedding date that the couple had to postpone their wedding, with a little help of some DIY decorating in the apartment and technology, Tom and Kim said their &#8220;I do&#8217;s&#8221; in the privacy of their own home accompanied by a screen-full of Zoom guests consisting of close family and friends.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You get the best of both worlds,&#8221; said Kim Le, the newlywed bride. &#8220;You get the tiny, intimate ceremony, and then you get the fun celebration.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Chicago couple applied online at the Cook County Clerk&#8217;s office to get a Priority Marriage Application\/License.<\/p>\n<p>There were over 1,000 requests for the Priority Marriage Application\/License to obtain a marriage license during the time-frame of April 3, 2020 through May 26, 2020, according to the Bureau of Vital Records in the Cook County Clerk&#8217;s office.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The whole situation was bizarre, but it was just so amazing.
