Time Out Market in Chicago is taking a creative spin on the food hall experience by offering live jazz and brunch specialties available from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sundays. The Feed Your Soul Jazz Brunch<\/a>\u00a0features the Chicago Soul Jazz Collective playing live music from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. and individual vendors offering specialty brunch dishes during the entire event.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople are more interested in the jazz band than the football\u201d game on the big screen, Time Out Market manager Ismael Romero said. \u201cWe get a lot of calls and inquiries\u201d about the jazz band.<\/p>\n

Time Out Market, at 916 W. Fulton Market, is one of several different food halls that Time Out owns across the world.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe idea is to bring the publication to life outside of the pages of the website,\u201d Time Out editor Zach Long said.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
\u201cIt\u2019s more than a place where you can eat and go and have a drink, but you can also come in and meet face-to-face with the restaurants at the market,\u201d Long said. \u201cThe motto is the best of the city under one roof.\u201d Time Out Market has 18 different kitchens, each with a different vendor serving dishes such as breakfast arepas, brisket hash and hangover ramen and other dishes originating from across the world.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

At Cleo\u2019s, fried chicken and waffles ($16) is one of the most popular dishes. The vendor also serves a French toast souffl\u00e9 on Sundays during Feed Your Soul Jazz Brunch.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

\u201cIf I\u2019m in the mood for a heavy meal, I\u2019d get brisket and ribs from Salt and Smoke, but for a lighter meal, chef Bill Kim\u2019s Urban Belly has lighter options,\u201d Long said. The $13 entree at Urban Belly offers two buns filled with fried chicken, coleslaw, pickle, radish and a sprinkle of chili flakes.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The market also features Bocci night on Thursdays and a Valentine\u2019s Day pop-up market on the second floor. On Feb. 12, it will feature pottery, jewelry and vintage goods.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
