The coaches at Lincoln Square teach their athletes two forms of fencing, foil and saber. Although the children are learning proper fencing techniques, they also have a little fun whacking each other with foam swords too.

On the world stage, fencing originated in European countries and is gaining popularity in the Americas. The 2016 Summer Olympic Games are in Rio de Janeiro in just a few months, and qualifying for Team USA finishes in early April.
