Michigan steamrolls Iowa and Minnesota before falling to rival in B1G Title Game

Prior to taking the floor each game, the Michigan Wolverines huddle at the end of the tunnel for a last-second pregame pep talk. One by one, each player takes a turn saying what he will contribute to the team that day.

Walk-ons such as C.J. Baird and Luke Wilson stressed bringing energy to the bench. They’d be bringing that same energy to the floor this weekend, as both played the closing minutes of Michigan’s first two wins of the B1G Tournament at the United Center in Chicago.

It’s all about the wings – Buffalo Joe’s

It all about the wings at Buffalo Joe’s, more commonly referred to as “Buff Joe’s” and a staple in Evanston on Clark Street west of Sherman Avenue. The menu also features burgers, sandwiches and salads. This cash only restaurant offers great food at affordable prices.

Philadelphia Eagles to move on from Super Bowl LII hero

Nick Foles’ unorthodox second stint with the Philadelphia Eagles has come to an end.

The Super Bowl LII MVP has been the ultimate insurance policy throughout his time in Philadelphia. Foles’ greatest successes came after team injuries forced him into action. Off the bench, he led the Eagles to their first Super Bowl title and sparked an unexpected playoff run in back to back seasons.

Shamet provides spark to surging Clippers

Prior to the NBA trade deadline, the Los Angeles Clippers shook the league by shipping leading scorer Tobias Harris to the Philadelphia 76ers in a package centered on multiple draft picks and role players.

Despite a career high scoring average, the Clippers decided that Harris, an impending free agent, was not a part of their long term plans and opted to trade him.

Local Chicago Instagram account helps launch international media company

Andy Lederman describes himself as the friend who likes to find fun new things to do with his pals. This mindset didn’t change when he moved to Chicago after college seven years ago to work in private equity. The issue was he couldn’t find the go-to guide he wanted, so he decided to produce his own.

“We were all working really hard at our respective finance jobs so we didn’t have time to research this stuff and there was no good research out there,” he said.

Lederman created Chicago Bucket List, an Instagram account with a mission to curate a list of the best things to do in Chicago for his friends.
