Batter up: Wrigleyville businesses are swinging for the fences

Hey Chicago what do you say?

The 2016 Major League Baseball season is underway, and the Chicago Cubs open up at home against the Cincinnati Reds. The first pitch from Wrigley Field this season is at 7:05 p.m. Monday evening. But before all of the excitement, local business owners are working around the clock to prepare for the big day.

Apparel stores are loading up on the newest jerseys, hats, flags and more while bars and restaurants around the stadium are creating Cubs themed food and drinks for the fans to enjoy. Wrigley may be under construction, but there is no doubt the city of Chicago is ready for Cubs baseball.
