The Chicago Police Department issued a community alert last week warning citizens about recent thefts on the CTA Blue Line. Lieutenant Thomas Clark of the department’s public transportation section explains the specific tactic these offenders are using and what passengers can do to stay safe.

Citizens with any information about these thefts are asked to contact the Bureau of Detectives – Area Central at (312) 747-8382.
