After narrowly falling to Syracuse in their first top five matchup, Northwestern redeemed itself with a come-from-behind win over 2021 National Champions Boston College. On Feb. 19, the Wildcats managed to erase a four-goal deficit for their first win against the Eagles since 2013.
“I think (the win) shows what our kids are fighting for,” head coach Kelly Amonte Hiller said. “I was really proud of them and how they stayed neutral the whole game. Whether we’re down by four or climbing back, they always believed and believing is the most important thing.”
