Chicago’s 2023 Dance City Champions are now one of the top 10 teams in the country, and get this: The team has only been around four years. This year, the Lincoln Park High School varsity dance team came home with a sixth-place finish, scoring 77.2875 points. Medill Reports’ Kierstin Lindkvist caught up with the Lincoln Park High School Varsity Dance team before they headed to Universal Dance Association nationals to see what bringing home a title would mean to them.
