The Israeli-Palestinian conflict not only impacts people abroad but also in Chicago. The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) student Manar Daghash spoke on her experiences as a Palestinian American.

“Palestine hits the personal and the activism line for me,” Daghash said. “So any opportunity I get to educate people about what’s happening and to advocate for people who are voiceless around the world I take that opportunity.”

Students for Justice in Palestine UIC are holding conversations throughout the week to spread awareness on how the conflict is affecting Palestine.
